Blessed John Paul II Seminary was founded to prepare men to become good and generous priests of the New Evangelization.

Men enroll in the seminary by applying to the priestly formation program of the Archdiocese of Washington. More information here.

The priestly formation program is structured around four basic "pillars" of formation, as outlined by the Catholic Church.

Three full time priests serve Blessed John Paul II seminary, together with one adjunct spiritual director and two staffmembers.

Blessed John Paul II Seminary

Blessed John Paul II Seminary is a college and pre-theology seminary program of the Archdiocese of Washington. It is committed to the formation of candidates to the Catholic priesthood and is modeled on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His own formation of the Apostles.  It adheres to the formational guidance of the Holy See and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
