Vocation Events

Throughout the year, various events are held in the Archdiocese that are tailored for those discerning their vocation, with a particular emphasis on helping young men discern whether they may be called to the diocesan priesthood. Events for young adults, collegians, and young men in high school are listed below chronologically. If you are considering a vocation to the priesthood, attending some of these events will be enormously helpful. Please contact the Vocations Office at 202-636-9020 or by email if you have any specific questions or to register for these events.

Affiliates

Affiliates Events

Young men who are more actively discerning a vocation to the priesthood may become a part of the Archdiocesan "Affiliates" program.  As a member of the Affiliates, a man agrees to enter into a more intense time of discernment by meeting with a spiritual director monthly, by striving to live a prayerful and upstanding life, and by attending Affiliates events which occur roughly once a month.

If you are interested in being considered for the Affiliates program, please contact the Vocation Director, Fr. Mark Ivany.
