Seminary: Mount Saint Mary’s
Home Parish: Sacred Heart, Bowie
Oldest of ten. Served in the U.S. Coast Guard.

My life before the seminary:
Before Seminary, I served in the U.S. Coast Guard at Station Milford Haven in Hudgins, VA. On duty, I spent four hours per day patrolling on the Chesapeake Bay and its western rivers. I stopped small boats to perform routine inspections to ensure the safety of mariners. I was also responsible for the cleanliness of the units boats and other property. Off duty, I volunteered at Saint Joan of Arc parish in Yorktown, VA, singing during their holy hours and assisting the parish’s blind pastor.

What convinced me to enter the seminary:
No one thing convinced me to enter Seminary. However the life of Saint Jean Marie Vianney, and the witnesses of my parents, pastor, and Bishop Herbert Bevard of the Virgin Islands were monumental influences. And I would never have made the final decision if it weren’t for the clarity given me at the 100th anniversary mass of the Marian apparition at Fatima.

Other interests include:
Musical Theater, Running, Swimming, Biking, Hiking, and Camping.
